Shuttle Submission Process

Show step by step how to get started

Explore / Start Your Design

Begin a new design using our Github template repository, which includes all necessary files for implementing a design in Caravel.

Install the required tools and PDK following the provided instructions.

Reserve Space

Secure your spot on the shuttle. Please note that reservations are non-refundable unless the shuttle is cancelled.

Make a 50% Deposit

Commit to your shuttle spot by the "Commit Deadline," 60 days before the final submission deadline, by making a 50% deposit.

Track Launch Go / NoGo

A minimum of 20 confirmed participants is needed for a shuttle fabrication run. ChipFoundry will notify you once this threshold is reached and will provide updates on reservation and commitment counts on our website.

If the minimum is not met, the launch will be held until the next scheduled window, and your reservation will automatically roll over.

If the shuttle is cancelled, you can choose between a full refund or rolling your reservation to the next shuttle.

Final Payment & Design Submission

The remaining balance is due 14 days before the submission deadline.

You can submit and update your design files until the final deadline.

Receive Delivery

Completed chips will be delivered approximately 5 months after the final submission deadline.
