    Our Mission

    At ChipFoundry.io, we're on a mission to democratize silicon chip design and manufacturing. Building on the success of previous open-source silicon programs, we provide accessible and affordable pathways for innovators, researchers, startups, and educational institutions to bring their silicon designs to life.

    Our Story

    Born from the success of open source silicon, which created a thriving community of over 10,000 members and facilitated more than 600 fabricated chip designs, ChipFoundry.io is our way of taking it even further. More people and more applications.

    Our Leadership Team

    ChipFoundry.io is owned by Umbralogic Technologies LLC, a team of semiconductor industry veterans committed to removing barriers in custom chip development. We believe that innovation in silicon should be accessible to everyone with a great idea—not just those with massive budgets and specialized expertise.
